Okay where to start....(ps I really hope that I am able to sort my pictures, if not this will not make the most sense) okay starting... This summer we packed up our kids and headed down to Cherry Hill to camp for a couple nights and play at the water park, I am so sad I did't get any pictures playing at the water park but we had a great time, on our way home we took in Ice Age 3 in 3d, and stopped by Hill Air Force base to check out the museum there (which was way cool)
Also we had our annual 24th of July celebration, the kids thought it was great to go visit the swimming pool and Grandma and Grandpa's hotel, they like the fireworks and barbeque in our backyard (especially the sparklers) but they REALLY loved having a sleepover with Ashlee and Craig!
Brenten's friend Isaac moved away this summer, those boys have known each other since they were 2 and so they were happy to have a sleep over before he left, as well as one when he came to visit for a couple of days. We're sad they had to move but think its great that he'll be going to school at the same school Grandma's teaching at this year---maybe next year she'll have Isaac in her class!!
We spent alot of July just "hangin'" around waiting for our yearly trip to Bear Lake...my kids start looking forward to this family vacation about a day or two after we get home!
And the sun did finally come out....
Also while we were at Bear Lake, Brenten lost his first tooth!!! Lucky for him he brought his "wallet" and the Tooth Fairy found him at the condo---the next morning he woke to two shining gold dollars and a pack of "good for your teeth gum"!!
Also this summer I've been trying to boost my sewing skills, ( I can't really say that I have) but as a result I have taught Lexie that "picking out fabrics" is a great way to spend an afternoon, she fell in love with this pink Dora material the second she saw it and of course need some pajamas...
But alas the summer is coming to a close and the school air is around us, just last Saturday we spent the day at the stadium watching the Aggie Scrimmage and meeting all the new football players, Brenten even played catch with an Aggie Football Player as well as got a few autographs (to him those football players are nothing short of celebrities) Needless to say he was in heaven, after the treats and bounce house, Lexie was ready to go! Funny the priorities of these kids!! :)
GO AGGIES!!!
So there you have it, a glimpse at what we've been up to...of course there is always more stories to be told, so stay tuned for why monkeys should NOT jump on beds, and Brenten's first day of Second Grade!!!! Until then thanks for checking on us!!!
