Holly's House Again!!

So this weekend we got to go to Holly's once again for Family Fun! It was Hailey's 2nd Birthday and we were so happy to celebrate with her!
My kids have been so excited for the nice weather they were thrilled (despite the temperature) to play outside on the swings...
They got to have a "picnic" of pizza, breadsticks, and strawberries.....
And of course birthday cake....here's Miss Hailey!
K, I have to say I think this is the funniest thing about kids and birthdays...they are so excited they can hardly stand it to give the birthday person their gifts...Mckenna and Kaitlyn could hardly wait to tell us (in excited whispers) what they had picked out for Hailey, and when the time comes to actually give her the presents they all sit, barely containing themselves until they can give her their gift! They even have to sort out who can be the deliverer of the grandparent gifts...Its great!!
Totally not birthday related, but Mckenna and Kaitlyn got their costumes for their dance review coming up...they were so excited, Mckenna modeled hers for us, oh my gosh they could not be cuter..so grown up!

Soccer Season has Begun!!

So finally Soccer season has begun, we have been waiting for the fields to dry out and for it to get warm enough for them to play, but I guess they (who? soccer officials I guess) decided that we are going to play despite Logan weather. Brenten was STOKED! This morning we woke to rain, and freezing cold weather, but Brenten had high hopes...he couldn't wait to get home from school and get ready for his game. As it turned out it was still raining at 3:00 but by 5:30 the sun had come out, things were dry and it was actually a perfect evening for a game. Lexie is quite the cheerleader and was as excited as Brenten for him to play...
This kid was ready to play...he started out as Goaly (sp?)
And he did pretty good at chasing down the ball and getting
in on all the action...
Oops! And he's down for the count...good thing he's tuff!
Brenten got some great kicks in,
I love this shot!
Here's his favorite cheerleader! "Lets Go Brenten!"
Go SHARKS! Good game guys! Thanks Coach Cody!!

Simply Sweet

So I am a computer junkie--really I spend far to much time on it. Checking out everyone's blogs, seeing what everyone's up to...finding ways to shop on line (cause I don't do it enough in the actual stores j/k) But a friend of a friend led me to this great website that was all about digital scrapbooking...the girl that does this is so cute! Anyway before this babbling goes on forever this is a new site that I have been visiting, WELL the other day her sister posted that she was starting a new online store to sell hairbows...now anyone that has seen my child knows that I love to dress her up and she usually has an accessory of some kind in her hair so I had to check it out...way cute stuff, and SO CHEAP! Anyway I am putting a picture of my (okay Lexie's) new goodies up and a link to her site so that if any of you are like me....you can get some great bows at a great price. If you are into scrapbooking you should check out the scrapbooking site as well, that is listed under my link list of "Check it Out"

http://simplysweetbows.blogspot.com/
Oh yeah and in case you can't tell that is three headbands, four sets of bows, and 2 misc. bows and a cute flower clip--all for like 15 bucks (that included shipping!) The headbands are great because you can swap out the bow or flower!

Blessing Lindsey

This weekend we got to go down to Salt Lake and see Holly's new baby get blessed. Brice did a great job, and it was great to see everyone, even Shanna came in from New York!

The girls looked so pretty in all their Easter pink,

and Lindsey's dress was beautiful.

I wanted to get some pictures of my kids,

These were their Easter clothes, I thought they

looked great!

Don't you love Lexie's movie star glasses???

Spring Break

So Brenten was on "Spring Break" all last week, although I would have to say we used "spring" in the very loosest sense of the word, it was anything but "spring" in Logan. I wanted to do some fun activities but really it was kindof a busy week...we did go bowling one night though and he had LOTS of fun.
He was really excited to go bowling, so off we headed to the Fun Park,
And here he goes, B-bo to the lanes!!!
Great form.....
The look of joy as the pins fall down!
Here's Lex getting ready to go...she sadly didn't have as much fun this time,
she has a bit of a cold (are we ever going to be healthy again at out house?!?!?)
So mostly she was whiney and done after a few times...but it was still fun, and who knows
if it was the bumpers, or this huge metal thing that you can roll your ball down, but regardless
Brenten was the winner this round by a long shot!!

A few more bday shots...

Okay, you're probably sick of all the birthday babble by now, but I am going to post a few more pictures...Brenten had his friend party on Friday, and then my family came up on Saturday to celebrate..(Saturday was his actual birthday)

We started out the same, Mckenna, Kaitlyn and Brenten hunted up some dino-bones

A little Skip-bo was played, my Grandma is somewhat obsessed!

Lexie loved spending time with her newest little cousin, Lindsey

Gpa wore his St. Paddy's suspenders just for me! (Yeah, the day lives on

all month long in my opinion)

On to cake and ice cream...it looked a little better in real life but you get the idea!

The dinosaur actually moved and growled and the eyes glowed red...I thought it was pretty cool!

"Make a wish...."

Kaitlyn and Mckenna were so excited to give Brenten his gifts, and they were great ones! He got a giant Go Diego Go coloring book, A mini Mikey Ninja Turtle and Jeep, and "The BIGGEST sidewalk chalk we've ever seen!!

Ashley and Craig got him some Dinosaur eggs that you disolve and then put together the pieces of mini dinosaurs (he loves them!), he got a great pull over from Grandma and Grandpa Golding (He wore it the next day!) and Grandma got him "How do Dinosaurs say Goodnight" (which he is determined to read all by himself) and some clothes! The kid got spoiled! Thanks so much everyone for everything!!

Last but not least Brenten got a new bike---NO TRAINING WHEELS!! Now if we could just get Spring to get here he could go out and ride it!
