Hush little baby....

I know I know I am such a blogging junkie--but I couldn't help adding a little story from last night. As a background, we have been having such a hard time with Lexie at night...she doesn't like to go to bed, its hard cause she is always so happy and entertaining come bedtime, but she won't stay in her room!! She always wants to sleep in "mommy's bed" last night was no different..we put her back in her room (after many repeated escapes) and tried to get her to lay down, I went into my room, and could hear her get up and play with her kitchen, then it sounded like she knocked something over, and eventually all was quiet...a little while later I went in thinking I would find her curled up on the floor or haphazardly laying on her bed, intending to tuck her in...but no, my little baby had tucked herself back into bed, but what struck me as funny is the fact she was wearing a snow hat! This cute little hat that aunt Shanna knitted for her last year was in a box, ON TOP of her bookshelf! Somehow, she climbed up, got the hat, put it on and climbed back into bed, snuggled in and finally drifted off to dreamland....
