Tag I'm It!!

Okay, so I've seen these things on other blogs, but being fairly new to the whole blogging world, haven't actually been tagged myself...until now...thanks Mel....(hint of sarcasm)
I am supposed to come up with 7 little unknowns about me--I'll play along, but hey if you're tagged at the end you should play too!!

Okay here we go....

1. I am quite a contradiction! I know that sounds wierd but here, I'll explain...I don't love the snow(unless its Christmas), and despise the cold, in the middle of summer I am still freezing, but yet I live in LOGAN! Once I know you, I don't shut up...(come on you all love it) but when it comes to actually talking to new people I don't know, I can't!! I get so nervous and don't know what to say, I lived in my house for 2 years before I started getting to know my neighbors. Sleep, probably one of my favorite things, don't get me wrong, I love to stay up late-often past midnight, and yet I work at 5 in the morning! So there, a few of my contradictions...

2. I LOVE PARTIES! Yeah, Nick will tell you I stress myself out, but really I love to have parties--I love giving my kids birthday parties, but I just love parties in general. The menu, the decorations, the ambience! And I love picking themes..(example the year long process of Lexie's Luau) I am now trying to get Brenten to pick his theme since I only have until March to get things going!!

3. I really like to cook, I even took a culinary class at the university and used to cook for my college roomies...this is embarrassing but definately unknown (I can't believe I'm sharing) but when Brenten was a baby, I would set him in his high chair up to the counter, and talk everything through with him, kinda like I was on a cooking show,--"Now next we add the sugar, you'll want to mix it just until it creams with the butter, too long and the butter becomes to soft and sticky, alright that looks good, now add your eggs one at a time..."

4. Okay, this kindof goes with the whole cooking thing, but I love to decorate cakes...I used to work at the "Peppermint Place" as a Candy Climber Artist...well artist in the loosest sense of the word, I would make frosting characters on the sides of candy canes...things for everything you could imagine..clowns, bears, ballerinas, angels, santas, snowman, spiders, vampires...After that job, I knew I loved playing with frosting, and I've loved making birthday cakes for my kids...my personal favorites are Brenten's Ninja Turtle from two years ago, and Lexie's Hula Dancer this year.

5. Lets see, what else, okay, I am not proud of this but...I LOVE RED BULL! No, I don't drink if for the caffeine(even though as mentioned I am somewhat sleep deprived), I honestly just love the taste, it is such a guilty pleasure...I'm trying to give it up but really I just love it.

6. I totally ROCK at TETRIS! Its compulsive, a total addiction, but I cannot sit down to my computer without playing at least one game...its so sad. I have all the high scores, but still have this need to play. Something about stacking those little blocks just so! Another new addiction-Guitar Hero--LOVE IT! I can still break away without having to play it everytime the computers on but once I start...just one more song???

7. And totally saving the best for last...drum roll please... My absolutely, positively, most favorite holiday is....... ST PATRICKS DAY!! Every year my love for that holiday grows even more! And every time someone finds out I love it, I get the question why--and to that I answer WHY NOT?!?! Good-bye snakes in Ireland, I would celebrate that, run into a Leprechaun, he'll grant you wishes, pot of gold at the end of the rainbow-who doesn't need some cash, can you find something wrong with shamrock?? Green Beer anyone??!??

Thats it there are seven facts about me, I suprised myself at how painless that was, I guess I had more unknowns than I thought...now as I am tagging you RICKIE, BROOK, ALICIA, SHANNON, ANNE MARIE, and MOM Please play along, I'm looking forward to your unique facts and stories!!
